Chapter 7: All Grown Up

Of course naturally, Yuta and Asami were not excited about having their significant others meet their parents. Asami was so scared that her parents wouldn't like Kathryn, that she decided to call the relationship off. Yuta, on the other hand, decided to be brave and boldly introduced Magdalena to his parents. Kagura and Chin-Han approved, and Yuta was free to come and go as he please with Magdalena. Although disappointed in her own fear, Asami was content with being single now. She began to focus more on school than on Kathryn, and she believe her newfound adjustment was for the better. While Asami was studying hard in school to keep up with her siblings, Azula met a new student named Lawrence Lum. Lawrence and his family had just moved into Pleasentville only a few days prior to Lawrence's first day of school. Azula learned all she could about this interesting student and even followed him home after school to help finish unpacking. The two started spending more and more time together, doing homework, watching movies, and eating out. As expected, something began to spark between them and soon they were found close together looking up at the stars. In the midst of all her sighs, Azula found the courage to ask
Lawrence if he wanted to go steady. At first Lawrence seemed hesitant and then simply replied no, but to her surprise, when she asked again, he said yes. Unfortunately, prom had passed and her prom date was far too late to attend. Even so, Azula and Lawrence had a prom night of their own. They went to the movies, then went out for dinner, and finally returned to Azula's house for a full night of dancing. With Kagura and Chin-Han's permission, Lawerence was allowed to spend the night. Their evening was magical, and they wished even more they could have gone to prom together. The school year went on and the expectations of a teen continued. Kagura and Chin-Han were finding it difficult to teach Azula, Asami, and Yuta how to drive all at once. The once exciting experience quickly became tiresome and irritating for both the teacher and the student. In due time, they all received their permits, and were off on the road almost everyday. As the teens were coming into their own and getting ready for adulthood, Hitomi, Hinako, and Makoto were getting ready for high school. The young ones finally graduated
from middle school and headed on to bigger and better things in high school. Graduation for the teens wasn't too far around the corner either and grades would soon be ready to be finalized. To reward their children for their hard work in school, Kagura took the all of the teens out for a long night out on the town. Chin-Han stayed behind to catch up on some lost sleep as well as taking the extra time to do some chores around the house. Not believing that Kagura still had the party animal spirit in her old age, the teens thought they could hang out all night long. It was only after a few hours did everyone complain about how tired they were. To her surprise, Kagura could keep up with her old self, but of course, old age wasn't too far behind her, and she was exhausted.
Feeling Makoto has gotten the most out of school since his early years, Chin-Han and Kagura decided to send him off to a boarding school named Smuggdworth Prep School. To better their own education, his twin sisters, Hinako and Hitomi, signed up for after school programs. Kagura and Chin-Han were proud of all of their children's efforts to improve themselves. Graduation had finally come for Yuta, Asami, and Azula but unfortunately, Makoto could not attend since he was off to boarding school that same morning. Yuta graduated with honors and was named "Most Likely to Become a Rock Star" by his peers. Azula graduated with honors as well and received an award for "Most Likely to Take Over the World" by her peers. Asami graduated as valedictorian and was voted "Most Likely to Get Married". Kagura and Chin-Han were very proud of their children and believed their
time had come to let them choose their own lives. They left the house to their children, believing their eldest children could care for their younger siblings. In celebration of graduation, Yuta mustered up the nerve to propose to Magdalena. Unfortunately, she wasn't ready for that kind of commitment, so Yuta went home with a sad look upon his face. Azula chose to celebrate on her own and treated herself to a nice dinner out. Asami was the most excited of them all and didn't hesitate to share her excitement with Kathryn. Although, the two had some time apart, it seemed the feelings had never changed. Kathryn and Asami went to the Huynh Hotel to spend some time alone. That decision brought on more than either of the two were expecting. Asami had proposed, married, and lost her virginity to Kathryn all in one night, but their life changing moments didn't stop there. Kathryn moved in and found herself a new job. Asami found a new job and adopted a baby boy named Taro. Desperate to begin a life together on their own, Asami, Kathryn, and Taro moved out of the Huynh Mansion. So much had happened to Asami in one day that her family couldn't keep up. She had started a new family in only a matter of hours. The only member of the family that could even congratulate them was Yuta, but his visit was short since it was very early in the morning when all of Asami's plans had finished. It was only few days later that something else change in the family tree. Chin-Han had reached the end of his days and was buried at the Huynh cemetery. It was a sad day for all.

Chapter 6: Bundles of Joy

Kagura's pregnancy had gone very well. She finally gave birth to three healthy children: two girls named Hitomi and Hinako and baby boy, Makoto. Even with 5 children already running ramped through the house, Kagura and Chin-Han still wanted more, so they adopted a little boy named Yuta. 6 children were definitely a handful, so Kagura quit her job to be a stay-at-home mother. Chin-Han reached retirement and stayed home with the kids as well. Kagura and Chin-Han believed that school was important and that the children should understand the importance as well. Kagura decided to read beside the children as they tried to complete their homework. This encouraged Yuta, Azula, and Asami to do well in school. As expected, they were all on honor roll and received high achievements in elementary school.
Even with Yuta, Azula, and Asami going off to school everyday, the parents found it very hard to manage their time with the triplets always crying. Immediately Chin-Han shamelessly called for a babysitter. The babysitter came by almost everyday and soon became the nanny. Time flew by and Azula, Asami, and Yuta were all teenagers while their younger siblings Hitomi, Hinako, and Makoto grew into young children. The nanny was no longer needed and Chin-Han was happy to no longer pay for her mediocre services. With all of the children old enough to attend school, Kagura and Chin-Han finally had some time to themselves. They worked together trying to finish errands and chores around the house. Kagura went out to town to collect revenue from the town and Chin-Han stayed home to water the garden. Even with so much time on their hands to complete many of the things they couldn't do before, Kagura and Chin-Han were still very stressed. The two decided they deserved a two day vacation away from the kids and the house, so they packed their bags and left for a romantic getaway. While their parents were away, the teens threw themselves a wild party. Asami called their cousins and their friends to have the party of a lifetime. With prom right around the corner, Yuta thought it was a good time to get to know Magdalena Lawson better. The two spent much of the night together alone, ignoring the rest of the party. After some time, Yuta worked up the nerve to ask Magdalena to the prom. She immediately said yes and the two began to coordinate their night. With all of their plans for prom completed, Yuta gave Magdalena flowers and invited her to the family garden to watch the stars
together. Even when all the other guests had gone home, Magdalena stayed behind for a few hours longer to spend more time with Yuta. Unfortunately, their romantic night had to come to an end since Kagura and Chin-Han were on the way home from their vacation. Seeing their house in shambles, Yuta and Azula were instantly grounded. Asami barely escaped the wrath of her parents since she was clever enough to avoid their path. Yuta and Azula were stuck doing chores around the house to make up for their mistakes. With prom only a few days away, the two tried their very best to get on Kagura's and Chin-Han's good side. When prom was only one day away, Yuta and Azula resorted to begging for forgiveness. Feeling that they had learned their lesson, Kagura and Chin-Han lifted their punishments. Prom night arrived and all three teens were ready to go. Yuta was all dressed up in his tuxedo and Azula and Asami decided to wear the same dress with different colors. The limo arrived and they were off to have a grand time. Azula knocked down the backdrop while chasing down her crush for a dance. Despite her clumsiness, Azula was crowned prom queen. Yuta and his date, Magdalena, were enjoying their slow dance when they kissed for the first time. Having mutual feelings for one another, the two love birds chose to make it official. Yuta had his first girlfriend and was in love for the first time, but in the midst of bliss, Yuta's name was called to receive his crown as prom king. He was very surprised but was very happy to be the prom king with his sister as prom queen. As her siblings were basking in the glow of popularity, Asami was off flirting with one of her classmates, Kathryn Dietz. Asami and Kathryn were virtually stuck together the entire night. Something began to spark between the two and they became romantic interests. Prom night was over and it was time to return home. The three all had an amazing night to remember and especially Yuta loved his prom picture. He proudly placed the picture on his dresser. Time went on and the parents were
stressed again. Feeling that their children had learned their lesson before, Kagura and Chin-Han felt it was safe for them to take another two day vacation. Knowing better, the teens helped around the house by looking after the garden and their younger siblings. Hitomi, Hinako, and Makoto were very obedient and always completed their homework. Having lots of free time, the children spent much time in the new treehouse in the backyard. It was apparent though that some of
the children were having too much fun. Hitomi called Asami over to the treehouse only to dump a bucket of water on her sister's head when she arrived. Naturally, Asami was not too happy about that. Despite the children's mischief, the teens still enjoyed their parent-free home. Yuta went out on a date with Magdalena and Asami invited over Kathryn to spend more time with her. Both couples let their love blossom and it was only a matter of time before their significant others had to meet the parents.

Chapter 5: Surprises

At first, Kyo and Megan kept their relationship a secret but later believed they should not hide their love because of their parents' misfortunes. The two spent time together in public, and Kyo had even stopped by her house to pick up Megan for a date. Of course her mother was nasty towards Kyo, but he didn't let it effect him. The two made love for the first time and soon Megan was pregnant. Kyo immediately started the wedding plans and sent invitations to their family and friends. Megan did not want her mother to attend, afraid that she may start trouble. The wedding was ready to begin but one unfortunate soul was not going to see the end of it.
Mike Huynh had reached the end of his days and met his fate right before his son's wedding. It was an awful way to begin the ceremony but it had to continue without his father. After the wedding, the guests departed and Kyo received a phone call that his mother Irene had died as soon as she returned home. Naturally Kyo and his sisters were devastated after losing both of their parents on the same day. Even with these traumatic deaths, the siblings still had something to be thankful for. Kyo was now married with a baby on the way and got a new job to support his new family. Time went by and Megan had their first baby boy Daisuke. Happy to see his first child come into the world, Kyo wanted another baby. The same night, the two tried for another child and once again she gave birth to another baby boy, Aito. Feeling the joys of fatherhood all over again, Kyo gets Megan pregnant again.
Seeing her brother full of joy with his new life, Kagura thought it was time for her life to change for the better as well. Kagura invited over Chin-Han and the two went out for a night on the town. When they returned back to Kagura's house, she proposed. Chin-Han said yes and the two spent the rest of the night at Kagura's home. Days passed and Megan was in labor again, this time giving birth to twins. Kyo and Megan welcomed baby girl, Yumi, and baby boy, Sasuke, into the world with open arms. Seeing his family getting far too big for the house, Kyo took his wife and children to a new home and left the house to his sisters. Not too long after their departure, Kagura had a private wedding with her childhood crush and high school sweetheart Chin-Han. The two were happy to finally be married, and not long after the honeymoon was over did Kagura and Chin-Han decide to start a family of their own.
As her sister began to settle down with the man of her life, Tammy went out to find one for herself. She met family man Shannon Ebert. Despite finding a married man with three kids, Tammy still tried her luck and to her surprise was successful. Shannon admitted to being unhappy with his wife, and the two let their love flourish. Still as smart as whip, Tammy had discovered a star and named it after her lover. Naturally of course, the two kept their love a secret but it wasn't long until people realized the product of their forbidden love. Tammy was pregnant with their first child, and later while giving birth to her first boy, Genji, Tammy was completely unaware that her sister was finally pregnant herself. Knowing her sister has always done right by the family, Tammy decided to marry Shannon before their second baby, Fawn, was born and move in with her new husband. With the marriage came a great celebration for everyone except for Joyce Ebert. After the wedding, Shannon changed all the last names of his children from Ebert to Huynh, so as not to offend Tammy. Furious, Joyce refused to move out of the house and tries constantly to get back into the good graces of her ex-husband. Kagura and Tammy still continued to keep in touch with one another, but many times it frustrated Kagura to hear her sister complain about Joyce's evil plots and sorts. Kagura had her own family to manage and listening to her sister became tiresome. Days past by and Kagura gives birth to twin girls, Azula and Asami. Raising the twins has been long hard work, and Chin-Han was never ashamed to call a babysitter so he could get some rest. The girls grow older and are almost ready for school, but Kagura and Chin-Han believe they can go through parenthood together all over again. With Kagura's new pregnancy, they're hoping for triplets.

Chapter 4: From Enemies to Friends, From Friends to Lovers

As Tammy spends more time in the family library, playing chess, or hacking on the computer, Kagura is off spending time with her new crush Chin-Han Grantham. The two had gone to the park frequently and learned more and more about each other as time went by. Soon the twins were growing into teens. Surprisingly, it was Chin-Han's birthday as well. The three celebrated their birthday together with their family, but as invitations were being sent out, Kagura realized that Chin-Han lived in a foster home. This made Kagura sad so she invited him to stay and talk. Understanding her feelings of compassion, Chin-Han welcomes her love and affection. The night was still young and Kagura wanted to go on a date, but Chin-Han thought it would be better if the two spent time together alone at her house. The two teens conversed long into the night, but eventually Chin-Han needed to go home, and with heavy hearts the two departed. The following day Kagura called Chin-Han for a date and he was eager to accept. They went out to eat and afterwards headed to the stadium to see a concert. Kagura and Chin-Han went to her house to finish out their date. By the end of the night, Kagura received her first kiss and started dating her first boyfriend. Of course Kagura wanted him to spend the night but her parents didn't believe she was ready for that. So the two love birds said their goodnights and goodbyes and so ended one of the best nights of Kagura's life.
While her sister was out on her date, heart aflutter, Tammy learned of a Huynh in town who was a part of the first few generations of Huynh's. Desperate to learn more about her family beginnings, Tammy took a trip to visit the house of ghost Tai Huynh. At first, Tammy was scared by seeing a ghost but soon became fascinated by his transparent features. She started to ask him about the first Huynh's, about Saki and Christopher Huynh. Tammy also wanted to learn about how he died, but she believed that was too personal of a question. She realized that with every new question, they were less about the family legacy and more about Tai. Even so, Tammy seemed just fine with that. Later that night, Matthew was
off to work, stealing for his boss as usual, but unfortunately this time, he didn't get away. Matthew spent the night in jail but enjoyed his stay by making a few new friends. After his night in jail, Matthew went home to recuperate and soon he was ready to go. He invited over Bridgett and neither of them were prepared for what happened next. Moments later Matthew found himself spilling out feelings of remorse and love for Bridgett. Surprised but thankful, Bridgett accepted his apology. Full of glee, Matthew proposed again but this time with sincerity.
Matthew was sure he could care for Bridgett and the children since the family funds are soaring yet again. Money comes in many ways from many things. Tammy hacked $333 into the family funds through the computer, her uncle Matthew sold $200 worth of fish, and her father Mike earned $1,704 in tips from playing guitar and all of this was extra money on top of the adults's newer promotions. When all seemed well, in the midst of cooking for the first time, Kyo sets the stove on fire. The issue is quickly resolved as Irene puts out the fire with a fire
extinguisher. Unfortunately, someone called the fire department for assistance when it wasn't needed. Because the fire was put out before the fireman arrived, the family was charged a $200 fine. Of course naturally, the Huynh family was not happy to hear that. With bad news came great news. Matthew and Bridgett had finally set a date for their wedding. The newlyweds and their children found a beautiful new home not too far from the Huynh castle. It was sad to see him go, but the family was proud to see Matthew with a change of heart. Time flew by once again, and Kyo had become a young adult. Seeing their son all grown up made Mike and Irene realize their children weren't babies anymore, and they certainly didn't need them. The elderly couple moved out and let their children live their own lives. Kyo believed it was time for a change of his own as well. He had gone through much of his life never keen on making any friends and as a result never met anyone special either, so Kyo went out on a hunt for the next Mrs. Huynh, but to his surprise he didn't realize the person he had fallen for was the product of the disaster that had befallen the Huynh castle, Megan Huynh, the daughter of Kacey, his father's ex-wife.
