Chapter 4: From Enemies to Friends, From Friends to Lovers

As Tammy spends more time in the family library, playing chess, or hacking on the computer, Kagura is off spending time with her new crush Chin-Han Grantham. The two had gone to the park frequently and learned more and more about each other as time went by. Soon the twins were growing into teens. Surprisingly, it was Chin-Han's birthday as well. The three celebrated their birthday together with their family, but as invitations were being sent out, Kagura realized that Chin-Han lived in a foster home. This made Kagura sad so she invited him to stay and talk. Understanding her feelings of compassion, Chin-Han welcomes her love and affection. The night was still young and Kagura wanted to go on a date, but Chin-Han thought it would be better if the two spent time together alone at her house. The two teens conversed long into the night, but eventually Chin-Han needed to go home, and with heavy hearts the two departed. The following day Kagura called Chin-Han for a date and he was eager to accept. They went out to eat and afterwards headed to the stadium to see a concert. Kagura and Chin-Han went to her house to finish out their date. By the end of the night, Kagura received her first kiss and started dating her first boyfriend. Of course Kagura wanted him to spend the night but her parents didn't believe she was ready for that. So the two love birds said their goodnights and goodbyes and so ended one of the best nights of Kagura's life.
While her sister was out on her date, heart aflutter, Tammy learned of a Huynh in town who was a part of the first few generations of Huynh's. Desperate to learn more about her family beginnings, Tammy took a trip to visit the house of ghost Tai Huynh. At first, Tammy was scared by seeing a ghost but soon became fascinated by his transparent features. She started to ask him about the first Huynh's, about Saki and Christopher Huynh. Tammy also wanted to learn about how he died, but she believed that was too personal of a question. She realized that with every new question, they were less about the family legacy and more about Tai. Even so, Tammy seemed just fine with that. Later that night, Matthew was
off to work, stealing for his boss as usual, but unfortunately this time, he didn't get away. Matthew spent the night in jail but enjoyed his stay by making a few new friends. After his night in jail, Matthew went home to recuperate and soon he was ready to go. He invited over Bridgett and neither of them were prepared for what happened next. Moments later Matthew found himself spilling out feelings of remorse and love for Bridgett. Surprised but thankful, Bridgett accepted his apology. Full of glee, Matthew proposed again but this time with sincerity.
Matthew was sure he could care for Bridgett and the children since the family funds are soaring yet again. Money comes in many ways from many things. Tammy hacked $333 into the family funds through the computer, her uncle Matthew sold $200 worth of fish, and her father Mike earned $1,704 in tips from playing guitar and all of this was extra money on top of the adults's newer promotions. When all seemed well, in the midst of cooking for the first time, Kyo sets the stove on fire. The issue is quickly resolved as Irene puts out the fire with a fire
extinguisher. Unfortunately, someone called the fire department for assistance when it wasn't needed. Because the fire was put out before the fireman arrived, the family was charged a $200 fine. Of course naturally, the Huynh family was not happy to hear that. With bad news came great news. Matthew and Bridgett had finally set a date for their wedding. The newlyweds and their children found a beautiful new home not too far from the Huynh castle. It was sad to see him go, but the family was proud to see Matthew with a change of heart. Time flew by once again, and Kyo had become a young adult. Seeing their son all grown up made Mike and Irene realize their children weren't babies anymore, and they certainly didn't need them. The elderly couple moved out and let their children live their own lives. Kyo believed it was time for a change of his own as well. He had gone through much of his life never keen on making any friends and as a result never met anyone special either, so Kyo went out on a hunt for the next Mrs. Huynh, but to his surprise he didn't realize the person he had fallen for was the product of the disaster that had befallen the Huynh castle, Megan Huynh, the daughter of Kacey, his father's ex-wife.

Chapter 3: The Clam Before the Storm

Matthew never found anyone suitable at the hotel, but after so many life changing events occurring one after another, it was nice to finally take a break from the commotion and live at ease. Kyo was sent off to his first day of school and has been an excellent student ever since. At home, his younger sisters were being taught how to speak, walk, and use the potty. Irene and Mike have been very busy with the twins but together, they've made it through. Kagura and Tammy have successfully learned all they could from their parents at this young age.
Soon Kagura and Tammy were off to their first day of school as well. Kyo, Kagura, and Tammy spent a lot of time together playing tag, chess, and video games. The three can often be found doing homework with one another. Seeing the twins and Kyo grow into wonderful and intelligent young children, reminds Matthew of his own offspring. Spending much of his time working and managing the home garden, Matthew never had much time to spend the night out. While out collecting revenue from the town, he over hears the news about Bridgett giving birth to a set of twins, baby girl Latoya and baby boy Rex, and as if reading his mind, as he thought of Bridgett and the children, she called his cell phone to invite him over. To his own surprise, he agreed. His behavior seemed suspicious to even himself, but something inside him never truly wanted to know why. Matthew talked to Bridgett for most of the night but as a person and not as an easy way to expand his legacy. Unable to decipher his own feelings, Matthew leaves in a hurry and decides to do a side job for his boss. Even after leaving and finding other things to do, Matthew couldn't be distracted by his thoughts of Bridgett. This unknown feeling drove him to insanity that night. Time passes yet again and the family is aging once more. Mike and Irene have reached their elderly years as their son
Kyo has moved on into his teenage years. Mike and Irene threw a birthday party for their son, but not for themselves. They believe they are too old for the parties they used to enjoy in their younger years. Kyo's party was full of extravagant tastes, but of course this was only because the family could afford it. The family adults, Mike, Irene, and Matthew, have received promotion after promotion and the family funds are significantly increasing. The family hopes in only three generations, Pleasentville will pay for all of this legacy's wants and needs. Mike joined a partnership with yet another community building downtown with the continuous raise money the family has been earning. Proud of the family's accomplishments, Mike purchased a new car for the family. Completely unaware of the financial achievements, as children should be, Kagura and Tammy spend much of their time playing chess or video games with one another, but Tammy spends more time learning than her sister. Eager to explore the world around her through fun and games, Kagura meets one of her classmates and has her first crush.

Chapter 2: Drastic Changes

A few days have passed and Kyo has grown into a typical troublesome toddler. As his needs and demands grow larger, so does Irene's belly. Things are getting hard to manage around the house, even with Irene's maternity leave. The garden is slowly drying out and without the maid coming to clean the house every day, it would be in shambles. Going into her third trimester makes Irene slow and easily tired out. Taking note of his wife's depleting strength, Mike tries very hard to balance work and raising his son at the same time. His daughters are not of much use, since one is busily running about in the streets at night and the other is heart set on a boy's money. Even though he strains himself daily trying to manage his job, kids, and home, Mike refuses to seek the help of his brother Matthew, still refusing to forgive him for flirting with his wife. When all seemed like things couldn't get worse, piece by piece the world began falling apart. While out on his date with Bridgett, Matthew finds her suddenly going into labor. Immediately, Matthew rushes her to the hospital so she can deliver the baby safely. After 2 long hours, Bridgett gives birth to a healthy baby boy named Javier. Matthew escorts her and the baby to her house and

then sets off for work. The very next day Matthew invites Bridgett over to the house with only one goal in mind: to impregnate her again. Like always, he was successful. As Matthew was enjoying his free time, Jessica was out having a date of her own. Seeing that Delbert was slowly losing interest in her because of her lack of maturity, she decided it was high time to act her age. Jessica invited him over and threw herself a birthday party. She blew out the candles, became a young adult, and was free from curfew, school, and her immaturity. The same evening, she convinced Delbert to stay the night. Without hesitation, she jumped onto her one chance to bag him for good. They flirted and teased with one another until the early hours of the morning. Eventually for the last time, Jessica asked Delbert to leave Fatima for good.
Believing Jessica would be the better woman for him, Delbert agreed. For the next three days, the two were inseparable. Delbert, at Jessica's request, spent many nights with her, and soon she decided it was time to "pop the question." Surprised at the proposal but anxious to accept, Delbert said yes and the two were finally engaged. To ensure that her precious lifestyle wouldn't be ruined, Jessica insisted on having a baby and starting a family of their own, and as always Delbert agreed. It was only a few hours later did the signs of pregnancy show through. Jessica found herself running to the toilet multiple times a day, relieving her stomach. Ultimately, she realized she was pregnant. It wasn't long after Jessica announced her pregnancy did her stepmother Irene go into labor. Mike rushed to her aid, and they were off to the hospital. After it was all said and done, Mike could finally understand why Irene's pregnancy was more difficult than her first; she was carrying twins. They decided to name their first born girl Kagura and the second girl Tammy. Knowing that her father's family had expanded yet again, without her mother, Maria became furious. One morning, she woke up before everyone else in the house, like every morning, and was off to school, but she didn't return home that day. Panicked Mike frantically called her cell, but Maria refused to answer. It was only hours later did Mike hear from his younger brother, Bryan, that he had taken the girl in. Maria was entirely fed up with the constant reminder of how her mother abandoned her and how her father had forgotten her. Without notice, she took the clothes on her back and her school bag to her uncle's home, where she would hope to start a new life, away from her parents. Genuinely concerned about her sister's wellbeing, Jessica left the house to
visit her, only to find out that Fatima resides there too. Words fly and tempers rise as the two start fighting over Delbert. The two wished they could go head to head, but Jessica would never risk her pregnancy over a petty girl like Fatima. Two days later, Jessica secured her victory over Fatima and gave birth to baby girl Haruka Huynh. Jessica thought it would be best to send the child over to her grandparents before the wedding, so there will be less adjustments when the time came for her new family to move into their new home. The same day Jessica wanted to have her wedding, so she invited her family and friends and even purchased her wedding dress. The pizza was ordered and all the guests had arrived. The only person missing was the groom. Jessica frantically called time and time again, but Delbert said he couldn't make it because he was busy. Terrified he was out with Fatima, she ran next door to his house, but he was nowhere to be found. She was devestated, but Jessica was determined not to let him go. She sent all of the guests home only to invite them again the next day. This time Delbert was early. As wonderful as it was, not all of the attention was on Jessica's wedding. Kyo was having a birthday upstairs and finally grew into a child. Then as if by clockwork, one of the guests attending the wedding ceremony had gone into labor...again.
Bridgett was found heaving and sighing at her contractions by the side of the house. Once again Matthew had taken her to the hospital to give birth to another healthy baby boy named Vince Huynh. Sadly, because Bridgett had gone into labor, Matthew had missed his niece's wedding. He never wanted to attend on her account. Matthew was more interested in the guests that were in attendance. He escorted Bridgett and the baby to her home, and soon he was at it again. Impressing Bridgett with his clever words and alluring body language, he was able to get her in the mood all over again, but to reassure that she didn't deny him of his true intentions, Matthew proposed. They lie in bed together three times in efforts of trying for a baby. Realizing he had been through this routine before with her, Matthew grew tired of Bridgett. It was time to break it off and find something new. Without regrets, Matthew left his two sons and pregnant ex-girlfriend to fend for themselves as he headed straight for the town hotel.

Chapter 1: Unstable Beginnings

Many generations ago, the first Huynh, Saki Huynh, moved into Pleasentville and not long after met her husband Christopher. Over the years and generations that flew by, the family has expanded in wealth and in size. Saki Huynh was the owner of the poorest house in Pleasentville, but her family has grown to become the richest family in town. Many of the citizens of Pleasentville are descendants of Saki and Christopher Huynh and thus have taken over much of the town. The current head family lives on the outskirts of town in the Huynh mansion, the biggest mansion in Pleasentville that resembles a traditional Japanese castle. This part of the family owns many of the buildings downtown and collects large revenue weekly.

The head of the household is Mike Huynh. His story is much like the rest of the members of this large family, full of turmoil, lies, and cheats. His first wife, Kacey Huynh, was caught cheating when he discovered she was pregnant by his cousin, Clark Huynh. Rightfully so, divorce soon followed after, and willfully, Kacey took her newborn daughter, Megan, and her new lover to a small house on the other side of town. So not to ruin the lives of his twin daughters, Jessica and Maria, because of their mother's distrustful behavior, they were permitted to stay. Mike quickly found new love with Irene and remarried.
Not long after the wedding, one of Mike's younger brothers, Matthew, tried to start a romantic relationship with Irene. Needless to say, the two were immediately on bad terms since Matthew's “play time” knows no bounds. After the little incident, Matthew met his first “play toy", Bridgett Huynh, and on the same day, she found herself pregnant after a date at the nearby hotel. Mike continued to try and establish a sound family and soon Irene gave birth to their first child, Kyo Huynh. Eager to expand again,
Mike and Irene have yet another baby on the way. This time they’re hoping for a baby girl. As Mike and Irene try to bring new life into the world, Jessica tries to bring new money into her own. Much like her uncle, Matthew, Jessica has plans of her own when it comes to relationships. Never wanting to be poor when her time comes for marriage, she visits the neighbors, the Leggett’s. At first things seemed to go well for Jessica. Delbert, the son of the Leggett household and her classmate, became close friends at school and eventually started to come home with one another to do homework. As their friendship began to climb so did their interests in one another, only Jessica was too late. When she was ready to begin a relationship with him, she immediately found out Delbert was dating Fatima Huynh. Despite this, Jessica was determined to marry Delbert. She spent the night at his house, and the two conversed all night long. Eventually Jessica was able to convince Delbert to break up with Fatima. Being the mischievous devil that she is, since she stole someone else's man, Jessica became enemies with Fatima. Jessica and Delbert still have yet to go on their first date, but according to Jessica it won't be long now. Unlike her sister, Maria is more family oriented. Many days she can be found spending time with her other uncle's family, Matthew's twin brother, Bryan. She loves spending time with the kids and her new aunt. Maria doesn't have many friends since she spends more time with her family than outsiders, but she is content nevertheless. Although this may be true, there is reason as to why Maria is never home. When she doesn't want to visit her cousins, Maria is always out after curfew getting drinks,
working out at the gym (and meeting others there too), as well as lashing out at home. All of her misbehavior is because of the broken home she comes from. She has a womanizer for an uncle, a gold digging sister, a father who's very happy with his new family, a stepmother who doesn't acknowledge her, and a mother who has completely abandoned her. Maria may do well in school, but it's only to ensure no one will ask questions. With so many issues haunting the family, it is hard to believe they have come so far, but such is the story of a Huynh.
